Did you know that some lily pads are so strong and large, like the Victoria amazonica, they can support the weight of a small child? Our duck friend has found a wonderfully sturdy one for a moonlit rest!

Coloring Tips

1. 1🎨 Moonlit Glow - Use soft blues, purples, and grays for the sky, and a very light yellow or white for the moon, blending outwards to create a gentle, ethereal glow.
2. 2🖍️ Textured Lily Pad - Experiment with different shades of green for the lily pad. Add darker greens in the crevices and lighter greens on the raised parts to show its intricate details and texture.
3. 3✨ Sparkling Fireflies - For the fireflies, use bright yellows or light greens for their bodies, and then use a white crayon or gel pen for tiny dots of light to make them truly glow against the dark background.
4. 4🌈 Reflective Water - Mimic the sky's colors in the water, adding ripples with slightly darker or lighter shades. Don't forget to add soft reflections of the moon and the firefly lights on the water's surface.
